enneagram tarot spread

Greetings,

I'm wondering if anyone here has done a tarot spread as an enneagram and if so how would they interpret the spread -- ie. what meanings do they derive from each card position, the triad, and the hexad, etc.

I can see mapping the card positions to the nine Hudson/Riso types but what meaning would you derive from the triad and the hexad??

If anyone has any pointers for developing these that would be most helpful.

thanks,

obi (peacemaker)

Well, first... I steer away from hudson/riso and have not used tarot specifically with the enneagram.

I will say that my use of animal/medicine cards is in direct relation to my use of the enneagram though...

I would like to explore more...

      Hi Lobo,

I've been using the Tao Oracle cards for the past year (since my tarot practise began). While I've read some of the Hudson/Riso work it's never resonated that deeply with me which is why I'm much more interested in the more mystical/Guerrdieffian interpretations of the enneagram.

(You can see the spread that I'm presently pondering in my photo album.)

I take the triad as a traditional past-present-future (present being the apex) which has always worked well.

I continue to puzzle over the hexad. How do you interpret it?

      regards,
